Building the beehive of your choice

• Once you’ve decided on the type of hive you’d like, we’ll build it for you.

  • This may take 3 – 4 weeks.

  • Special order hives will take longer.

• Hives cost from $650 - $1600 approximately, depending on the style and any additional features such as windows. You will be given a firm quote for your hive during the consultation process.

Providing our “Beside the hive” mentoring service for 12 months

If you’d like to learn to manage your beehive we first recommend you do a “bee keeping course” such as those conducted by Canberra Region Beekeepers Club or by Adrian Iodice at Beekeeping Naturally.

To augment any course we provide a “Beside the hive” mentoring service which will:

• Give you practical experience

• Help you with the inspections

• Provide support over a 12 month period

• Cost $450 for 12 months
