We’re an eco-focused enterprise based in Canberra, Australia.
Our aim is to promote natural (bee-friendly) beekeeping in backyards, in and around Canberra, through the provision of hives, help and advice and mentorship.
If you’re keen on sustainable environments, conservation, organic or biodynamic gardening and natural ways of doing things, then you may want a bee friendly beehive in your back yard.

Who are we?
We’re two passionate natural beekeepers, Jon and Warren, who also share a love for wood working and making high quality bee hives.
We believe that bee friendly beekeeping promotes healthy and resilient bees better able to face the environmental challenges of today’s world.
Jon has a health care background and has been practicing natural beekeeping since 2014. Warren has 15 years of beekeeping experience and is a skilled woodworker.
We can help you with a range of bee activities
We build sustainable bee friendly hives
We site and install hives in your backyard
We’ll mentor you and pass on the wisdom as you learn to care for your bees.
However we don’t catch swarms or provide a complete hive management service. If you are looking for someone to help you in these ways, please contact Martina at Canberra Bee Collective.
